When I teach surfing for the first time, I show how to do the sport and an utterly healthy lifestyle in a healthy environment, The Ocean, creating and bringing light. The Sea is the most significant living being on the planet, with unique behavior influenced by the moon, the seabed, currents, winds, a universe of creatures, and their mystical Waves.
As a child, I was shown how a place of healing, charging, and energy transmutation. Today as an adult, I know, I live it, I need it. Throughout the years in my strong relationship with the Sea, I have saved dozens of lives through surfing, either by rescuing them from drowning or, my favorite, teaching. In one-week workshops, I saw how the sea, through surfing and myself changed lives from drug addicts, suicidal and depressive to brilliant people, full of energy and self-esteem.
